Is this a bug?

I accepted a storage room reno on Jerome Ave 15/1. The room is 4 squares big and it is asking for - 4 couches, 2 tables, 2 chairs, 4 piles of clothes, a tv, 2 bike racks, and 2 bookcases. Why? I am so confused. I feel like the game used to ask for more,,,normal items and now renos are just random. I will have to quit this job because there is no way for this all to fit so I can deliver the job. No matter how I place it, there are items that block other items off in a 4 square room. This job is unbeatable and it ruins my score basically.

Any tips, tricks, solutions etc for jobs like this? It seems like a bug. This is terrible design, it really feels random.

Perhaps this is a Puzzle type job? They're marked in the jobs listing with a puzzle icon and some of them can be really hard to complete.

Nope, there was no puzzle piece marker. That is also contributing to my confusion.

i've noticed this with renovation jobs as well. although the items aren't entirely random they are usually themed to a specific tenant type.

the biggest issue i have is the athlete tenants always needing a barbell in a room with a ton of other stuff that barely fits in it.

I was able to get past this one! It is super tricky but you can eventually get it
