Tenant Diversity and Family Units
Maybe this will be something in the future, but has anyone else noticed it seems everyone is a single person. You can design spaces for kids, or couples, or what have you, but it's all single tenants. Would it be interesting, especially with larger spaces, to rent a whole apartment/space to a single family with multiple members. I could see challenges such as kids making too much noise, or couples where you need to keep both happy at the same time. Just an Idea.

Yikes! It's hard enough to keep ONE person happy! lol

Agree with your point though. When a bunk bed is required for a renovation (and provided by the client) it's useful. Otherwise, unlocking it (which I did) is not very useful as there is currently no need for a bunk bed.

Here's a thing though - you start by signing people for a single month with all expectation that you'd have to renegotiate that every time.
Would a family with kids really want that? I think families would like to sign an "indefinite" deal where you only alter it when someone initiates its alteration. So you sign it and it stands until either party decides to cancel it.
I'd like to see that kind of deal option at some point in the game, maybe after you competely buy out a district?

I'd like various tenant groups very much. Young couples, BFFs, single parents... I hope to see them in the future. Entire family units too, but those would seem unrealistic if they just wanted to move somewhere for a month.

I agree with the point most people tend to rent long term, and not month to month. But with the game dynamics, it seems like the only way they leave is if they don't negotiate a new term, so in a way it's long term but like most leases, up every 6-12 months and renewed or not. I think days are just game time, hard to play real life months or years and keep the speed going
I think this is a great idea. Love to see this added down the road.

"would a family with kids really want that?" no one does, but that's how it is in real life, with families who cannot afford to buy a house having to rent instead, often on month-to-month leases, why should that have bearing on the game?

not saying it shouldn't be possible, but that I'd be interested in other options existing too, to the player's discretion.
