I was just wondering where i could get the restaurant job? I can see many people already have the achievement so the job must exist in the game, but i have never once seen anything related to a restaurant.

I've gotten the cafe job before. That one is in the suburbs

No, I don't think so. It's just one of the renovation jobs that cycle. Or at least I don't remember doing anything special. I only have like 3 buildings bought in the suburbs because I make all my cash in the slums (don't want that text spam, lol)

Yeah, same, i only have two buildings, but i have been in suburbs for a long time, and im closing in on 30 hours in the game without seeing anything about a cafe or restaurant.. Guess its super rare then xD

But actually with the new patch just released where they temporarily got rid of the rent texts made the game so much better.

Here is the list I have encounter so far in.
Slums: Drug Hideout, Laundry, Restaurant, and Ship
Suburbs: Playground, Cafe, Gym and Library.
Usually these jobs have high payouts and are uncommon. You will usually run into one of them at least once per month. Make sure you read the description to each job they will tell which one you can get.

Hmm, i have never seen restaurant, cafe, playground or gym.... seems weird, because i have been grinding jobs for achievements, and check jobs like every minute.. But thanks for the info!

Ok, i am now officially max level, i have completed all the "main quests", i have been grinding jobs for achievements, missing 15 renovation jobs and i will have 100 of each job done, and i have still not seen the restaurant job...

Just to update on this if anyone else is struggling with the same thing i was. Pretty sure my game was bugged. I played almost 40 hours, actively looking for only the restaurant job for probably the last 10, over 400 jobs done and did not see the restaurant job once.

To check if it was my save that was the problem i started a new game, and in the first probably 30 min of gameplay, some of that being very tutorially and not possible to get the job in question, i finally got it. So i dont see it being any other possibility than my original game being bugged.

Did you reinstall your whole game or just start a new save? Also where did you get the job? I'm almost 30 hours in and still can't find it.

You will get the restaurant job in the slums. However, I do find it a bit weird that you guys aren't finding it. There have been some players, including I, that are having troubling getting jobs as a bug. Maybe the bug is also part of what you guys are experiencing?

Have you tried going back to the slums in your original game and wait for the job to show up?

From what I have heard you can get the cafe job in the slums and the suburbs, however I have only gotten it in the slums cause I just unlocked the suburbs

Sorry for the late answer. I just started a new save, got it right in the beginning in the slums, just had to get trough some of the tutorial stuff to get different jobs.

Do you happen to know which address was your restaurant job? I started 2 new different saves and got nothing.

Also - cafe job wont count as restaurant job anyway.
