Reverting DirectX12 back to DirectX11

So after changing DX11 to DX12 the game now crashes a second after launching.
As such, theres no way I can set DX back to version 11 in game.
Is there any way to change DX12 back to DX11 in some kind of config file or something?

Are you using a 40 series card? Those are having some issues at the moment. Devs are checking

Nope, I use GTX 1070 with the latest drivers and software

How did you change it to DX12? After yesterdays patch it was set to default DX 11.

Yeah, yet you still can change it in game settings. I changed it right after first launch so I didn't knew that'll happen. Well duh noone knows that lol.

Btw there's no game settings in the launcher at all. So the last way to revert DirectX is somewhere in configs files, but I can't seem to find where.

Go to Steam Library > SYNCED > Right click to go to Properties > General > Launch Options > Type -dx11 in the launch options > Launch the game

For users who want to change to DX11:
Steam Library > SYNCED > Right click to go to Properties > General > Launch Options > Type -dx11 in the launch options > Launch the game

For 40s card users, please change to DX12:
Steam Library > SYNCED > Right click to go to Properties > General > Launch Options > Type -dx12 in the launch options > Launch the game

got an 4090 also and it crashes after launching on launcher. Does -dx11/12 even apply on the game if u set it on launch options, since there is a launcher?

I noticed that programs like MSI Tracker and Riva stats crash the game in DX12.

Yeah MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner are known to cause issues with launching the game. If you experience this, you might have to disable them.

You can't force dx via the game launcher itself, but the workaround to this is to add it to the shortcut on your desktop vis properties>shortcut>target> add the -dx12 or /dx12 to the end of the .exe
