Stuck for the security chip
Hi, I'm stuck at the point when I need to open both doors on the basement. I have 7 out of the 8 security chips, I believe the last one I need to find is in a door on the south-west of the second floor, but lasers are keeping me to go there. I precise that I have turned on every radiator, and I can't go to the security room because Mendel and Buddie are preventing me to go to this part of the map. I feel like I am softlock, do I have to start over everything?

i talked to him but he keeps wandering on the ground floor looking for it. He is as clueless as I am. If you ask him if you he found it, he says, not yet. so something else needs to happen to him first.

Just keep following your hints. I can't remember the exact sequence of steps, but he will have it for you.

I think I just found the part I am doing wrong. It is in the walkthrough on page 82:
Open one of the lockers with the Locker Key that you didn't open previously.
Again, it doesn't matter you will get another key to open the last locker.

That one I dont find because I cant go south twice here. There is something wrong. Can anyobdy help me?

For me it was the south corridor below where Mendel and Buddie are talking. Back in the Cubby marked 8, I had missed the chest in that room that contained the chip I was missing.
