Also, I switched the Jetpack button to LT instead of RT and that seems to work better for me. I'm pleased the game allows configuraiton of ALL controller buttons cause so many games either don't, or only let you choose from a couple/few preset configurations. :)
Also, maybe I need to replace my aging XBox 360 controller for WIndows because often the left thumbstick seems to "rest" in the "point left" position, which can be maddening in side scroller games.
P.S. I guess I missed the pulse gun? I haven't seen it to this point.
Oh! Not really. You get Pulse Gun at 'sector 1-6', just before next boss.
Hi quinze! The best weapon set for this boss is the Multiway gun to kill the squids (try to upgrade it a pair of levels) and the Mini Nuker equipped in the second slot to destroy the eggs. Once the eggs and squids are destroyed, the big worm is a piece of cake.
