Anyway, is it a direct sequel to EDF 5 following the same storyline. Ranger was massively buffed and Wing Diver benefits from new "backpack" weapon slot. Fencer has seen some buffs and nerfs but remains largely the same. Air Raider has been gimped pretty badly with double cooldown length on his gunships and double credit costs on most everything else—the new drone weapons do no in anyway make up for these massive, blanket nerfs.
The mission count is 140+ missions and has some pretty crazy story twists.
We don't know when it will be releasing world wide in other languages but we are all hoping they will release it world wide on PS4/5 AND Steam and not do a delayed PC release...
I've been playing vicariously through some streamers who have been doing this, I got the main gist of the plot but sadly most mobile translation apps aren't quick or accurate enough to make proper sense of it lol... I'm gonna just have to bite the bullet and wait =/
There's actually some DEEP LORE about the Primers/Ravagers and the whole conflict lol, the story just goes From Software levels of balls-off-the-wall in EDF 6
LOL you should see some of the theories floating around about the plot, they range from totally goofy B-movie schlock to some "deep existential philosophy" featuring all your favorite authors haha
LOL yeah, EDF 6 just drives this point home with it's cosmic "time travel" plot to remind you that the Primers are so far beyond humanity they can exist in a whole other dimension
