*Exceptions may apply. I received the DLC1 lightning bow before I bought it.
Anyway this is a great time to buy dlc missions, I've been eye how often it goes on sale, and this is only 2nd time it has gone in sale in almost a year, who knows how often they'll put it on sale, I would highly recommend buying it now if you can, can't see it being any cheaper unless it goes on Humble bundle in 1-2 years from now.
Kinda meh, but lots of things about EDF are kinda meh, so whatever.
The pinned answer above seems pretty clear for the weapons, they're more powerful, not-quite-yet-almost necessary for only the hardest difficulty.
What about the mission packs? How much do they add to the game and how much did the game need or benefit from this extra content?
I'm considering buying multiple copies of the game. The DLCs, even with the bundle on sale, add a hefty bit to the cost. Still I haven't ruled out any possibility yet.
The new missions offer a couple dozen of extra challenges if you've already gotten all you could out of the base game.
Do not buy any of the DLCs other than mission packs.
