Ranger should have an equippable Squad

I absolutely love how the Ranger excels at having a squad. However it sucks when you don't get one, due to map, or someone else picking them up.

Their gimmick should be a Squad that you can equip. Obviously several different versions, and they upgrade like any weapon/vehicle. And you can call in reinforcements, the speed of the recharge either like the Air Raider with kills, or maybe the time is reduced by how long you've kept your current ones alive.

At this point I'd much rather someone else picked them up so that I won't do so accidentally. They're useful in SP, even important at times, but in MP their usefulness is outweighed by the disadvantages.

I guess I be picking them up then, Thank you very much. I mean MP mode is design to be for co op where enemies stats got 3 or 4 times stronger for balanced gameplay.

It'd be nice if EDF6 lets the Ranger call in a squad as their specialty. Just being able to sprint kind of sucks, and healing the NPC's is nice, but you only get so many per level, if at all.

It'd be cool to see them jump out of a helicopter much like the air raider's vehicles do. And it'd be nice if they either last the level, or you can summon more if your previous squad dies.

Pretty much perfection right now. Just make them an equipable item like vehicles are, allowing you to get upgraded versions and such.

I love using the DLC special recovery device with a bunch of ai squadmates. They all become virtually unkillable except to gold ants, silver spiders if my reaction to them is slow and i don't roll to a hp kit in time. They can be my meatshield to the frogs while i gun down the bigger targets.
