then complet all mission on easy, normal, hard.
This is wrong. You have to complete only hard on all classes and then some of hardest or inferno with some of those classes. Just doing easy, normal, hard will not get you to 70%.
Hard on all 4 classes in it's entirity (111 * 4) yields 60%.
Hardest in it's entirety on all 4 classes is worth another 20%, so completing the entire game on hardest with 2 classes is sufficient after doing hard on all classes.
You don't have to FARM again, but you still have to complete every single mission, in order, and per difficulty level.
Otherwise you cannot bring your OP gear into the fight.
I realize I'm very late to this party but weapon and armor may carry over from SP to MP they however do not superseded the gear caps. Having 3k armor farmed up with a fencer in SP means nothing as soon as you jump in MP and the armor limits are capped at mid three didget amounts.
True but i really dislike that if I wanna play with my friend on hard the weapon level cap forces me to use weapons 6 or 8 levels below what I find in SP and bugs are super tough. Game would be great for online squad play I'm guessing but co-op with my friend has same limitations.
Don't worry about the power of your weapons (maybe the ranks though) so much as taking the right weapons for however you're trying to play. Frequently, it's easier to win through control rather than brute force, especially if you're keeping up to date with your armor and able to soak a couple of hits from the more accurate enemies like the frogs
