It's a slightly different topic about sharing save files but similar enough that it's probably bound by the same restrictions. I didn't see anything in there that could help, unfortunately.
Wow, shame on those developers for not thinking about the poor pirates not being able to transfer saves. Actually, I doubt it was one of their priorities.
Nobody's making you buy the game.
who is a pirate? I was calling him a pirate (he clearly owns the game). You couldn't pay me to pirate this game lol i would have to start from scratch, no inferno difficulty unlocked... no dlc.. and do all that work to have it erased again when i buy the real pc version when it goes on sale? hmmm tempting
so i guess yeah maybe it is a good anti piracy measure lol
This is about people who own the game legitimately not being able to transfer their saves
Yeah< I actually have two copies of the game. I am completely anti-pirate!
Just bummed about the save file locking.
Which makes how overall decent the port is that much more impressive.
If this was a Souls Game people would be bending over backwards to excuse any number of insane porting issues that make anything EDF coughs up a delightful walk in the park by comparison.
Source: I tried.
It was actually more for the levels, so he would not need to repeat the same levels again.
I think in part its to prevent Cheating via file share. Its more likly a Co-op feature then an offline one. If my friends want to play and i just give them my save to skip the levels, or some random guy that cheated in 1mil armor and all the guns puts his on a download site.....
And im pretty sure Kra got it right in that hackers did cause some problems in the last game.
Yep, I get it. No worries as he was only a few hours in anyway. But now we are both doing Borderlands runs again in anticipation of BL3 in a month!
Did 4.1 allow save files to be transfered freely?
Last i remembered it's not because of the savefile that does it. but rather the trainer the host used in the session you played with, stuff like rapid fire and unlimited ammo, auto loot stuff
