Whoa. I just spent 2 hours Assaulting that mobile base. I died twice, I believe. So the third time I just took it very slow and made sure every single cannon had been destroyed at the maximum range of my sniper rifle.

Still took a long time to actually destroy the thing because I couldn't get close enough to blast it with the assault rifle so I was forced to take opportunity shots with the sniper, a few at a time.

Am I missing a certain technique for this thing? .

That mission just takes a long time. The important part is to destroy the green lasers, after that you can start hitting the hatch..

Try to keep as many NPC allies alive as you can, as they will take turret fire and give you more time to attack.

Thanks. The mission took so long, that there is simply no way I could keep the NPCs alive that amount of time. I killed most things at range so I couldn't even get to the first aide drops without risking my own life.
