Autosave failed

Game isn't saving weapons and armor. Level progress is saved. Asking it to retry saving isn't working. Suggestions?

Bump (already off the front page). Game is basically worthless if you can't save weapons and armor. There was a similar error message with 4.1 but even though it said it failed it saved everything no problem.

Didn't happen to me, so no idea O.o. Do you have enough room etc on your drive?

Very strange. Do you have that directory? If you do, also create a my games folder and make an EDF5 folder inside it.


As far as my problem I MAY have found a solution. In my documents, my games, edf5 I backed up everything and deleted all that was there. This worked for a few missions and then the problem showed up again. Testing it a 2nd time to see if it still works.

I created the folder in EDF5 in documents/my games/ but this also did not work


To be honest this game is a the moment really really broken.

Try running the game as Administrator (Right click --> properties --> Compatibility (or something like that) --> Execute this program as admin)

Turned off the real time windows protection and it stopped doing this. Windows 10 can be so annoying at times.

Worked for me only during start of the game. I got the same error after the first mission was done

Anyway to permanently turn it off? I turned it off from windows admin thing, and it still goes back on.

Hello friends, I have solved the problem. I apologize in advance for not putting this in English. put the google translator. XD I will show you how to:

Esto es para Windows 10.

1.- ir a Seguridad de Windows. (es el icono en la barra de tareas) dar doble clik.
(una vez abierto) ir a.
2.- protección contra virus y amenazas - ir a la parte de abajo a la opción de protección contra ransomware.
3.- abrir el menú en letras azules "administrar la protección contra ransomware" ir a "controla el acceso a carpeta" (abrir la tercer opción que es la siguiente) "permitir que una aplicación acceda a una de las carpetas controladas"
4.- darle a la opción con un signo de suma "agregar una aplicación permitida"
5.- puedes buscar la aplicación EDF pero a mi me resulto mas fácil poner la opción : "APLICACIONES BLOQUEADAS RECIENTEMENTE" como ya había intentado y me mandaba el mismo error pues ya estaba lista para elegir así se soluciono. espero les sea e utilidad.
