Absolutely great!

The promo video isn't really able to deliver just how great feel this game has. Considering it's cartooney look it has a quite realistic handling, but only as far as it is fun to play with a gamepad, so it is not overly difficult but still challenging to control the car and create a perfect drift over several curves. Collisions with other cars have an affect, but is not too punishing. There is great selection of cars and they each have their own feel. Lots of tracks and challenging star system, that lets you unlock new areas and earn money to buy new cars, but not really in a grinding mode, almost a bit too generous with the money.

I don't have anything bad to say about this game. The only thing is you should know what to expect. It is obviously not a sim racer, but also not an arcade racer, but somewhere in-between and in many ways extracting the best out of those two styles. Also I have played 6h and it feels like I have completed more than 50% of the game already.

I got it at a good discount sale and must be one of the best value for money for any of my games.

One of the best racers out there. Great system of moving up the ranks with different cars and racing styles. Game is really a simulator in my experience, very few games has the level of physics that this has. A must for every racing fan. You can challenge others and challenge your self. Great ranking tier also.

Star Drift Evolution is a beautiful arcade racing game.

* The physics are absolutely enjoyable, with a good dose of inertia and drifting.
* It has an excellent variety of vehicles and racetracks (of which I've unlokced only a few!), and they all feel unique.
* Graphics are minimalist, in the style of Nintendo 64 (but no blurry textures).
* It has split-screen multiplayer, and online rankings.

It's sort of a modern reinterpretation of 2002 Finnish game GeneRally, and that's a big compliment. Plus an optional chase camera!

It's all the good things about Absolute Drift but as quick to pick up as Horizon Chaser.
