Mobil Rally Championship 2000

Anyone remembers that game? That was the best rally game ever.

These Dirt Rally games are pitiful compared to it.

I've never played WRC games though. Are they better than these crappy Dirt games? Do they have amazing 20 minutes races like Mobil Rally?

I remember it, still sits in my collection. Quite epic for it's time, however these WRC games have excellent stages if thats what you're looking for. There are stages in the 15 to 20 km range if I recall with changing weather conditions along the way. Better stages than the Dirt games IMHO

arround 2001 i got my first pc and same year i got this rally ....very nice and lots of tracks and cars for that age of game :) later i got rally championship extreme

I remember the driving was fun with FWD, while AWD was unrealistic

nice experience having a full rally, with the 50km Pundershaw stage inside

RC2000 Was a great game. I´ve said this many times but it would be great to have those stages with new physics and graphics. There was a patch for physics made by a fan, azoobi if my memory serves me right, which made it a lot better to drive and removed the "sticky" grass and you could adjust everything like amount of damage and such. I tried it a while ago, the teeth of time have bitten a bite or two... the sounds were horrible, but you could tweak all files easily. I wonder if it could be possible to bring the game to 2020"s...
