Team Objectives Issues

Does anyone else have issues where some of your team objectives are NOT achievable?

Do Not Use X Tyres For 2 Rallies - this one is a bit amusing in that I had it come in when there was only one rally left in the JWRC season - ie. between Finland and Wales.

Once I completed Wales the objective failed automatically; presumably because I couldn't possibly not use the soft tyres for two rallies because there was only the one rally left in the season.

It's like Ford was looking for any excuse to drop me from the Jr. Programme.

Not a show stopper but slightly bemusing when you drive your heart out only to have your manufacturer reputation sink at no fault of your own.



Earn $15 000 in 4 week(s) - this one, or the like seems like it might be an order of operations issue as I finished the rally in 2nd place and earned $16 000.

Followed up directly by the "you didn't achieve your team objective" email which was a slight stinker as I clearly had.

The only thing I can think of is that from my earnings the game deducted my repair costs meaning I earned less than the $15K from a net perspective.

In that case I'd love to see the objective be reworded to "Net $15 000 in Earnings in 4 Week(s)" or for the objective to be based on earnings before deductions.

I mean, I earned $16K like I had been asked to - some of that prize money was always going to go to car repair / maintenance.

One time I had the earn-money-issue you described. I had also some non-achievable objectives like "Do three extreme events in 6 weeks" but none was offered. And I had some objectives you can only achieve by doing stupid things. (Do not use hard tyres in the next rally but this rally is chile and day two is El Puma and El Puma reverse which means 42km. Even hard tyres are finished after that)

yup...it's a bug...I'm also on WRC and won the first 7 rallys and it's telling me my reputation is LOW and my contract could be terminated...basically because the Objective bug is not being met.

My favorite is when the game tells you to do something specific like do 3 harsh conditions in 6 weeks but then proceeds to not give that option resulting in an automatic fail.

I've also gotten the one where you're supposed to earn a certain amount of money but you're really supposed to just have that much in the bank by the time. You can win 25k but if your balance is 24,999 you fail.

The objectives in this game are borked. More often than not they handicap you for no real reason. Hey we want you to win but don't use those hard tires!

I play on ps4 but there doesn't seem to be forums so I'll complain on steam

Nysetari, thanks for the clarity re the "Earn" objective. Looks like I'm not hiring anyone but the Financial Director for a couple events - haha.

Agreed re lack of forums / community support. Steam, the platform which doesn't even have rights to sell the title for a year has better community support than Kylotonn and Epic.

I had another impossible objectiv combination:
short term: do not use hard tyres on the next rally,
mid term: do not use soft tyres on the next two rallies,
next rally: finland.
So I should do rally finland without using tyres???
