Stuck in WRC2 forever

I read another post that says your have to do 3 Manufacturer Tryouts and then you get a WRC contract. Well I did that and I'm still stuck in WRC2 and this will be the 4th time running WRC2. Anything I need to do differently?

And I keep "resting" and "quitting" events to get to the next "manufacturers tryout" LOL. Skoda is gonna dump me soon...

Had 1 rally left in my 2nd season with skoda and ford came in for me, now in wrc, Had just completed a manufacturer challenge not tryout for ford.

Not broken for me, did 1st season junior, got offer from skoda for wrc2, nearly finished 2nd season then got offer from ford.
I did all the manufacturer tryouts for all teams, then lastly i did a manufacturer challenge for ford, finished 1st and they offered me a deal straight away.

I’ve done 6 manufacturer tryouts in my 4th season with no offers . And I am driving WRC 2 PRO . Whatever that means

Not 100% but i think you have to do the manufacturer challenge

I did notice I only have run two of those. I am sure you are correct.

every time for the past 2 seasons,,,I win the first 4 rallys...in WRC2 PRO...and after winning the fifth rally...after the Awards screen run and takes me to the Standings when I press Continue,the game crashes.It's not my PC...it's the game crashing.
Then I reboot the game...an forced to run the 4th stage...win it...awards screen...Standing page...press Continue...and the Game crashes AGAIN..
After a bit of investigating using WIN 10 Administration Events...it's the WRC 8.exe file that is causing the crashes. SO....I;m assuming you guys that are indeed advancing to WRC contract offers are using PS4/XBox versions??....or what??

I did the "Manufacturing Challenge" for the 3rd time and now I have a WRC contract.
I am not sure why you are crashing, but you just need those Manufacturing Challenges, thats it, don't need to finish multiple seasons...

yea...i will try that..so far no luck but I'm on my 5th season and won the last 3 rallys of 4..(2nd in the first one)....so far no issues...(fingers and toes X'd)

UPDATE:......no go scenario....lol...still in WRC2 PRO but with Skoda again.

I thought there were only Manufacture tryouts ????
