I don't know what build version you played, but I can guarantee that we'll be actively monitoring the feedback from players and applying balance amendments if necessary.
Current time limits are based on our internal testing and external playtests (on various events). In most of the cases, you should be able to master the level on a subsequent playthrough, as you already know the blueprint.
I can't wait to see more of your videos in the future. Please feel free to share them here or on our Discord[discord.gg] (we have a special channel dedicated for content creators' videos).
Same here. That's the reason me and my friends didn't buy Overcooked. Streaming game with Play Together or Parsec requires a very good internet but you don't need good internet for online coop games.
Thanks for the response. I'm sure you get tons of suggestions from people who think they know best on how to make your game...LOL. My beef is the time limits, specifically that it's level over when the time expires. I would have preferred you to be able to play as long as you wanted to complete the house, sort of a casual mode. You'd maybe earn one-star, but I personally don't care about the bragging rights unless there are incentives via upgrades involved.
For those who dont know - it allows one person with the game to stream it to others. Those others can use their controllers and the game treats them as if they were plugged into the host's PC. With decent internet it works almost perfectly with minor hiccups.
Absolutely not, there are tags for 'Online Co-op' and 'Shared/split-screen co-op'. The 'co-op' and 'multiplayer' tags apply to both, so they are appropriate for this game. Perhaps search for the online tags ('Online PvP' and 'Online Co-op') if you want to find games that natively support online play.
Entitlement much? All game developers want to make money, ideally to produce more games.
This game is primarily a couch co-op game like Overcooked, and that's what the designers were aiming for and so to them, this is complete. Online implementation can be very difficult, and clearly they are determining if there's enough demand to go even ahead with it.
Getting angry about and insulting the developer over a feature that you personally want is essentially an extremely childish tantrum and I suggest you reconsider your approach.
God bless you! You're so late to the conversation, I certainly hope you can stay awhile. Though, my interest isn't in "other tags" or what you or other Game Designers feel is right... I am a consumer and I believe they were mislabeled. If other games are mislabeled too and I see them. I'll happily call them out. Have a Merry Christmas!
Don't buy on the premise of a promised feature even if they say yes. Just be thankful Nvidia & Valve gave us the online co-op features and buy it if you think you'll like it/want to support the developers.
Would you not agree that local co-op is a form of multiplayer? It is then a subset of the 'Multiplayer' category and thus the tag is appropriate. If the category was 'Online multiplayer' then it would not be appropriate, but this is not the case. The same applies to the 'Co-op' category.
Now, if the gamers nowadays think multiplayer is "competitive online multiplayer", it's their fault. Either way I'd avoid such tag just to avoid the confusion, but it's impossible to call it being mislabeled.
