Best place to farm meat?

New to the game and want to farm raw meat to get that eagle, where is the best place to farm 100 meat?

Travel to another island and animals will spawn in greater numbers.

I believe the starter island is limited due to it being a starter place so giving the player a good easier start to get used to the game mechanics.

So just pick any one of the larger islands and get many animals but be patient as it takes a few mins for the animals to spawn in. Be careful what you wish for lol

I prefer the bow for distance, machete for close quarters.
