Solved issues:
- the frame rate cap was increased from 30 to 60 and the frame rate was improved
- (for me) crashes only happen if the game runs out of memory during loading, meaning they can be completely avoided by closing other applications hugging memory
- all collectibles and achievements are working and won't softlock the game
- multiple issues with character positioning were fixed
- quick time events work fine, however I never had any issues with them to begin with
As for the remaining problems:
- load times can be quite long
- dialogue in some dubs may be cut off slightly in cutscenes with a set length
- one cutscene is missing lip movements
- there are some phantom collectibles which can't be interacted with (the actual collectibles are somewhere else)
- mouse and keyboard support isn't great, make sure to use a controller
- there are sometimes small stutters
- there's some minor clipping in some animations
There may also still be a softlock. At a point in the game you are in a diner and have 4 hot spots. After activating 3 of them the scene ends. Make sure to read the note containing your order.
Hope I could help.
Thanks for such a detailed answer and thanks for the warning about that softlock
Since you played the game 3 times, how long does it take to beat it? Is there huge replay value ?
I think it's fine for a second playthrough, since knowing the case's solution will change your perspective on the story and even the small changes make it different enough from the first time.
