Stuck, don't know how to advance story

So, I'm at this point of the game where I talked with a certain lady who has a cold and lost her scarf.
But now I don't know how to advance the story. I explored every corner at least 10 times, picked ever dialogue choice, but I'm still stuck between the gym and the cafe.
What did I miss that let's me continue?

Did you call the police chef from the gym phone? Phone is downstairs near to the back exit right next to the fridge.

Yes, called everyone I could, I can no longer use the phone.

Have you done all the deduction you can?

Yes, at least I don't have the red highlighting anymore which pops up when deductions are possible.

Be sure you have talked to all the characters in and outside the Gym and to inspect all the items available. You should be able to use the phone.

It might be late for me to say this but you need to open the safe in the dunn's office after that you can call back the police.

I found what I missed. I could select a new locker on the right side in the locker room that couldn't be accessed previously.

I've got the same problem, did every single thing around every accessible location - nothing happens. I checked the walkthrough and it looks that the only missing thing is opening Jake's locker. However, it's not active. Tried every possible camera angle and still it's not active.
