Stuttering or Choppy Framerate
I forgot what you call it but is anyone else running into an issue where the game just goes from smooth to like 10 frames a second? I tried with the setting and changing the performance of my computer but not much gives lasting results.

Yeah I am also having terrible performance and stuck at under 30 FPS. I watched from my second monitor and the game is only using 10-15% of both my CPU and GPU. I'm running a 9900k and a 2080ti so I don't see why I should have any performance issues.

I tried messing with my nVidia panel settings to turn of v-sync and such but had no improvements. In-game settings don't change anything either, ultra and low both act the same way. Tried fullscreen and borderless as well. I'm enjoying the game but I started to get dizzy so I'll have to stop until there is a fix.

My game is actually capped at 37 fps, hopefully the upcoming patch fixes it

I know I'm a bit late - But I just bought the game and have a horrible performance, even though my rig should be able to handle it with no problems. Did I miss a fix or are we all still waiting?

That is actually sad. I heard there was an update to fix it and wanted to check it out. There might be a fan patch or tips from the Publishers website.

Hello,

the devs are aware of the issue and this is currently being test internally.

For those who have severe frame-rate issue, please do not hesitate to contact us via the support.

Please also join a picture of the part where this happens, if it always happens in one specific area of the game.

Also, join your dxdiag.txt so this can be investigated further more.

Best regards,

First of all - I really appreciate you for your community-service. You are doing very well answering all the questions. A lot of big gaming companys could learn from you! Hats of, good sir.

But back to my question - Are you just trouble-shooting the inconstancy of 30fps or are you working on 60fps but it's not stable enough yet? If you "only" work on the 30fps issue, that's not gonna do it for me and I would have to return the game. 30fps would be waaaaaaay to less for a game on a PC (actually even 60 in my opinion, but we all seem to have resigned so much that we welcome stable 60fps on PC).

I don't care about 60 or 30, I just want something stable. I had an issue where two characters are talking in a car and it was the worse scene ever. Because of the moving backgrounds, lips looked like they were not moving and people that were sitting in the car appeared flying instead. Something that doesn't cause motion sickness would be nice.

Thank you. I take the compliment.

However, even though I can tell you that the teams are working on frame-rate issues and the overall performance, I cannot confirm or infirm that they are working on the 60 fps.

I will try and get information on this, but I cannot promise anything.

Game is great, but stuttering it still does.
hexaae Nov 1, 2021 @ 8:04am
Still needs some improvements to solve stuttering, especially for new locations (problems with resource assets loading task preloading and async?)
hexaae Apr 3, 2022 @ 5:45am
News? Have these frequent stutterings been fixed?
