I liked the game. It made me feel like I wasn't as terrible a gamer as I am.
My first gripe was that respawn felt slow, but there is a setting for that in the menu under "speedrun" along with other quality of life settings.

As a casual gamer this game was fun!
At the start it seemed like fuel wasn't that big of a concern but it becomes more important later on in the game.

After I played through the first stage and played around with the built in level-editor for a few minutes, I think the only thing I would say is that I missed out on reading a lot of the dialogue. It pops up while you are playing so paying attention to it doesn't feel as high of a priority. I think I would've preferred the dialogue between the levels instead maybe?

It feels like a game where the developer has listened to feedback and added QoL fixes (like being able to disable dialogue completely if you are just in it for the action).

Perfect on Steam Deck. Controls are great, game brings back happy memories playing Thrust on my C64

It game is very good, i like it, i like godot engine.

This game is amazing. The "feel" is fantastic, and the mechanics and art direction have had a lot of love pored into them. I originally felt the games asking price was too high for the amount of content provided. But The developer does intend to add more content in the future.

Too pricey for what it is, it feels like puzzle game with premade levels & very uneasy controls. No adventure spirit found, no context, possible leaderboards is the only motivation to play. A ton of positive reviews looks suspicious.

Gravity ace is a fun game and my young kids love making impossible levels for dad to complete.

Really fun. Great feel.

Notes: I was gifted a free key to play live on my game dev Stream. And I also use the Godot engine (same engine this game was made in) so this game has a certain soft place in my heart.

The two best parts of this game:
1) The game feel. The developer nailed the feel and juice in the game. I find myself just enjoying flying around and in tense moments holding my breath trying to dodge a laser beams or a walls. There are also plenty of nice and juicy explosions, screen shake, and sound effects. John also does a great job of teaching you the game an then slowly ramping up the difficulty.

2) The player can pick how difficult the game is. The only real goal in each level is go get the reactor core. Everything else is optional difficultly. Which I think is genius. There is a grade system to try and get you to the hard stuff, but I don't have an ego and kept saying "C's get degree".

As of writing this I've only completed the first act/campaign (2 total). And am excited to tackle the next campaign. There are a few random edge case bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking and out of the normal.

Amazing game! Everything feels just right: the controls, the visuals, the sounds and the music, everything is so juicy. I'm enjoying just finishing the levels for now, but I'll come back to get a perfect score for sure!
Having a level editor is also really cool, I can't wait to try more levels from the community.

This game is great! The art style is nice, catchy soundtrack and flying through each level shooting enemies, finding collectibles and trying not to accidentally destroy the reactor core while fighting against gravity is a fun challenge.

At the end of each level you are given a rank based on how many of the collectibles you picked up, number of deaths and whether or not you are able to bring the "Reactor Core" with you to the exit.
Completing the levels normally has not been too difficult so far, but achieving the highest rank in every level could be a difficult challenge for those who seek it.

I'm only roughly halfway through the game so far, but the only thing i would like to see added is steam workshop support or anything similar to share custom levels made using the powerful and intuitive level editor.
