Most questions have already been answered and you can just search them up.
(There's also a lot of video reviews there if you need more help deciding if the game is right for you)
But while we're here, let me help you out on the question of campaign length.
The base game comes with the Bones of Arnor campaign, which has 12-14 individual adventures or scenarios, depending on whether you take on the extra side-quests or not.
Btw, I got that info from this post since my group is still at least 2 scenarios away from completing the campaign.

On the subject of my group, we've played 12 scenarios so far and added up over 23 hours of play time.
The game is tuned such that each individual scenario should take around an hour to complete.
But it take longer if still learning how to play and if you have more people playing.
I suspect that for the next campaign we might be able to move faster, but we'll be adding a new player so it will probably all even out.
Account for snack breaks and other interruptions and I think it's fair to want to set aside 2 hours per adventure just in case.
If your main concern is how many hours of game time you'll get out of your investment, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
It's definitely been worth it for me so far. So much so that I've already bought one of the expansions (which can immediately be incorporated into an ongoing campaign).
Moreover, you get beautiful miniatures.
