Passports via black market / Pässe via Schwarzmarkt

did anybody ever found fake passports at the black market? Would really like to accomplish the border crossing mission.

Never happened to me. I wish we could make the passports ourselves.
For some reason, I'm never able to get the passport from the University connection OR from the Christian community within the chapter so I haven't managed to finish Border Crossers

And it is still not working nearly half a year later (just seeing now that i posted the original post at VE day :) ). And this one of the big main quests, how can you just not solve this?

Sorry what do you mean by "in the Mitte"? I also tried this quest but couldn't get any passport over the university. Did you find another way?

They mean the district "Mitte", maybe it has another name in english. translation would be "middle".

(Sorry for the distract I actually am german too). Thank you for answering my question. Then I will look out for the other possibility getting this passport without the university, maybe I oversaw it.

By mitte, I mean a district of Berlin. This is marked on the game map.

There are definitely three locations in that chapter that each provide passports - however I believe one of them is bugged (it appears briefly but then mysteriously vanishes despite it looking like we've done all the prerequisitie missions to get it?). It's awful this still hasn't been patched...

However, it's still possible to get enough passports:

What you need to do is increase the amount of resources that you pay for them, and also ensure you send the best people (most likely multiple people).

As you mess with the settings (people on the mission, resources you're willing to pay for the passport), you should eventually notice that the number of passports you get from the mission will go up, i.e. you'll get more than one per mission.

As long as you get enough passports for the mission (can't recall exactly how many you need, five?) in total from all the passport missions (since you can do each passport mission only once each), you're set.

It's definitely much more difficult than it should be (and likely more difficult than intended).
