Why aren't you using lucky coins to give yourself a better chance?
Especially when it's a matter of life or death, you should not be hording coins.
As for normal battles (and most boss fights, if I recall), enemies have a tell before the coin flip attack, so blocking will negate it entirely. Much better option than leaving it to chance.
If you are struggling to find coins, there is actually a spot where coins drop infinitely. But it is best to avoid putting yourself in such situations whenever possible, after all even the second coin flip can fail if you are unlucky.
If you are trying to use single coins on the book cases, it is best to save beforehand
I would not advise relying on save points that require coin flips. At all
On a serious note you're just unlucky that's all. If you want to improve the chances of hitting the coinflip then just go to the thicket and farm lucky coins on the floor for as long as you like. And if you don't know how to do a double coinflip (judging by your time spent playing this game in your profile), hold shift while flipping the coin.
Oh and I guess you can use the additional information the guy gave you above as well, but learning what to do and what not on your own through trial and error is a much more interesting approach imo.
I ran out of lucky coins, i better start again since im hard stuck being killed every time, and idk where to go anymore. Most of the doors are "too strong for me".
Also ur negative review of the game is kinda funny and I guess you should follow the advise of Klampus after all (even though the game explains it's mechanics as you progress anyways, whether its through books or through interactions with NPCs).
Might come back some day, who knows
(btw my criticism of positive reviews refers to the ones that try to be "funny", which are a lot of the spanish ones)
Works for me 60 percent of the time, all the time.
