Too bad, I got super excited when I read deck compatibility.
It works, well, fine before you reach the final location of the game (SPOILER!!!: Ancient CIty :SPOILER!!!) and it's barely playable/unplayable (depending on a scene and amount of visual effects there) after you reach it.
It's a pity, because I personally felt the Deck+Headphones to be a perfect combo for the maximal immersion. I haven't actually thought of steam link for some reason, you should definitely try it.
You can actually stream the game through steam link from your PC to your deck as Mr.Smiles suggested and have the best experience possible.
You just launch it on your PC, turn on your deck and then instead of "Play" button you'll have "Connect" button, just press it and the streaming from PC will start.
Though actually bearable, past version of the old city may easily crash your game, especially when you use the time travelling (?) machine, happened to me twice.
[SPOILERS] C ending is literally unbearable, you gotta find Legarde in the Void who stays right by the giant green pit which causes frame drops up to 1 frame per few seconds.
-Extract the content in game root, overwrite if necessary
-ensure to have "nw" as executable
-add "nw" to steam library
-go to library and rename "nw" as the right title game
Thanks for the answer.
I already knew about it but never tried with F&H, only with some other RPG Maker MV games. Anyway, this method might be helpful for the others.
I don’t understand what I need to do
You're welcome.

However I get to the very end where I’m adding a non steam game to steam, but when I get to my fear and hunger directory my only options are: lib, locales, swiftshader, www, and Game.exe
I went in to permissions and made nw executable so I’m not sure
You’re such a god among men :)
