torn cloth from cloth hood?

in the first save file I was playing as enki and had stocked up on intoxicants, and for whatever reason I could make cloth from cloth hoods. now I'm playing as darce and don't have that recipe anymore. I can't find an item in wiki that lists that as a learned thing.. what am I missing? moonless and girl are bleeding out cause I don't have cloth 😭 beat the crowmauler just to be struck by an arrow with no cloth

during my first completed D'arce run. I don't know when I learned it, however, eventually around end game I discovered I could do it

I found that you learn the recipe from the book Anathomia. It's looted from bookshelves.
"Explains the meaning of the various status effect icons and teaches the recipe for Cloth Fragment."
