Cahara S Ending not triggered with companions?

I'm in hardmode and did all the maps thing to get the king's crown and when I escape I get E ending. The only deviation to the speedrun was getting Darce to make the Isayah fight easier. I even let her to die and escaped alone and still got E

Sounds like either that wasn't hard mode or you cheated

You can only get the S ending on Hard Mode, I can tell you haven't done Hard Mode because you got D'Arce but no Ragnvaldr (which you would have if you cheated) which shouldn't be possible as the game makes it impossible to recruit anybody except Necromancy summons and Blood Golems.

There is a tile in the entrance that will add her to your party, that still works in hard mode. Wouldn't surprise me tho if the game could detect party members that shouldn't be available and lock out the special endings

You didn't do hard mode because you managed to find D'Arce which shouldn't be possible unless you use the dev tile in the entrance.
