En Garde not working?

I learned it through table thing. I can see my shift is binded to skill. Im holding it whenever I start an encounter, it is not giving me extra turn.

I restarted game many times and it's not fixing anything.

do you see that skill in your skill menu? could be that you learned this skill, but didnt get it. I have the same issue

Hard to say without knowing anything about this run. Most of the time it's been due to someone hitting the wrong button or not knowing you can't use the skill as a marriage

yeah, I found out what that is. Hexen table wont give you the skill if you dont let the text roll and just esc after getting the skill. so, you gotta reload before you bought the skill and "do it properly"

I got the skill by using an empty scroll. The skill is in my skill tree, it shows in my char, and when I press shift she lifts her sword. When entering combat it shows the word "Ambush!". But the extra turn never comes! Only Moonless get the extra turn (as he usual does). I tried getting rid of him and trying to fight without him, in hopes it was a bug that makes my extra turn clashes with his, but no! My extra turn never comes during the fight. i can't find any video on the internet using this skill or any tutorial.. so, yeah... what's wrong?

Edit: i was assuming it gives extra turn at the beginning of the battle, according to the wiki. But that dont seem to be the case. So, all it does is give the word "ambush!" at the start of the fight. Now my question is: whats the practical use of this? What exactly does it do?

i got hit by an arrow by a balista guard, and lost en garde. just gone. but then i got hit by a arrow in a tortute chamber and en garde come back. i think it is beacause game was thinking that i dont end the en garde animation and dont allowed me to use en garde again
