Should i play fear and hunger 1 before 2?

I wanna get Termina because it's the newer one and people say the combat is better and not as hardcore, but at the same time, I'm worry I might miss out on something if I play the second game first and wouldn't get the complete experience

I'd recommend getting Termina first and just fooling around with it a little. If you're having fun, then play through the first game. There's a ton of lore, but you shouldn't feel the need to explore EVERY nook and cranny before playing through the second game.

In terms of story I think it's whatever. They share the same world but are years apart. Just play whatever you want first

Not really nessisary, though playing fear and hunger 2 long enough to read the combat tutorial as it applies heavily to fear and hunger 1 as well. 2 Happens far far in the future from the first.
