Stuck at Temple of Torment

Please help: I'm at the Temple of Torment in Mahavre, but there doesn't seem to be anything to do here? I've looked around the Temple in both the past and present, but there's nothing here aside from some items and the red man, who just stands there and screams a bit.

I read something about sacrifices on the forums, but there's no prompt for me to do so in the room with the chains. What am I actually supposed to be doing?

Should be some chains in the back of the past. Hook something up and skin it alive. Can't do anything there alone which may be the issue.

Not alone, I've got 2 skeletons and a ghoul with Enki

Yes

Well skeleton definitetly wouldn't work and the ghoul not too sure. You may want to just use the alternative way to torment if the ghoul isn't working. Not sure a ghoul could suffer enough to count.

So yes, I actually just tried the "alternative way" and for some reason it worked!

Makes no sense to me, since in-game logic a ghoul is essentially just a meat puppet anyway (like a husk).
