marriage keeps failing?

trying to use a ghoul to become the marriage as Enki, but cant seem to get it to work. attempted at the first floor dungeon ritual site as well as in the mines and both are resutling in failure. i checked affinity with Sylvian at the hexing table and its enough for her tier 1 spells so im not sure what im doing wrong

Do you pray before you try and do it? because if so that is a common bug where it will guarantee a fail for whatever reason

right before it ? or at any time in the playthrough? because ive prayed a few times

like if u pray on the same spot right before it yes but otherwise it should be fine

basically if you pray to two different gods on a circle or statue, a hidden variable will drop, and if the one related to sylvian is negative, your marriage will fail regardless of where it is attempted
