Standard character skills?
Say that I chose Cahara and recruit Enki later on, for example. Which skills do characters that are not the main one come with? Or is it randomized?

It's a bit weird. D'arce is decked out to the nines and Cahara is a dumpster fire of literally nothing. He died on me to a black orb and I just shrugged and nommed him soul. Think Rag gets his warcry to draw agro, pretty decent party member. I usually play Enki so no idea what he gets.

Enki gets Hurting and Needle Worm. Hurting always does 350 damage and is very accurate but it costs 40 mind. Needle Worm hits 2 random targets for 6 damage and heals for 12 while it only costs 5 mind. Not great but not completely terrible skills either.
