Cant open my inventory

Seems like the bug started as soon as i got the sergal spear, when later i tried to open my inventory, in this case with the key ESC the game doesnt let me.
basically i can't eat, recover mind, change equipment or craft anything.
Anyone that could help me? How can i solve the problem?

I had a different bug and what worked for me was falling down a hole. Took some damage, but the game went back to normal.

This might not work for you, but it's worth a try.

If all else fails, you could always join the developer's discord and let him know. He may release an update to fix it.

Hey man thanks for the tip, in the end i loaded an old save to fix the problem, i lost more or less one hour of progress so no biggie sux only for the empty scroll that i lost

I got this same bug when I bonesaw an arm from a skeleton. Not with any other limbs, or other people

Infact i did exactly bonesaw a skeletn s arm before to get the spear, ouch.

Here's another confirmation, had 3 arms and sawed a 4th skeleton arm. Placed 4 arms on the altar, tried the button and it stopped working. Did it in the underground lab. Falling down a hole didn't fix it for me but I'm not sure which holes work or not.

I couldn't find a fix after the fact, but when I blood portaled to the entrance from the nearest save and cut the arms off there the inventory did not break.

funnily enough this seems to have bugged my game in a different way as my skeleton seems to still be able to use his arms.

yup.. sewing skeleton arm here at the "arms altar" did the same bug.

EDIT: seems like the bug wont happen if you cut skeleton's arms at Mahave city (past), near tormentor entrance. So, yeah.. cut him there, then go to the hole

I encountered the inventory not opening bug by sawing off a skeleton's arm inside of the cave where you obtain the sergal spear. Since I was in a hard mode play through for Ragnvaldr S ending, I didn't want to reset. So I went to a hexen table, used some lesser souls for skills and viola! I could open my menu again!

If you happen to get the bug, go to a hexen table, use the hexen, close it and you should be able to open your menu again.

thanks for the advice, I got the same problem when I sawed off the skeleton's arm in the same room as I found him, near the temple entrance. Jumping off the laboratory cliff didn't work, but going back and opening the hexen fixed the inventory, even without learning any skill.
Incidentally, i also went into a fight with Harvestman and my single-armed skeleton seemed to have both arms attached.
