"Random" coin flip percentage...

It's impossible for anyone to say this coin flip situation is 50/50. My last run, which is saved at about 2 hours 26 minutes. I have had 34 coin flips. With 4 successfully chosen results. 20 of them being tails in a row ro test this theory... the game is hard enough as it is. But to completely ruin a run is just not worth it. I fail to see the benefits of starving a character to the point of not making into the caves... it's absolutely insane that the game is based on a broken 50/50

You just dont understand how % work. Its 50% in a long run not in just 30 flips. You have 20 tails, next guy has 20 heads. Its still 50% overall. You are just part of that statistic and not entitled to get fair 50% distribution yourself.
Anyway you can just edit chance in ini file to any chance you want.

I thought that i noticed the chance being increased, when you are in the light.
Pitch dark seemed to lower the chances. If true it would be advisable to carry a torch while searching.

You need Notepad++, so download it and install.

Notepad++ allows you to locate and replace text in multiple files at the same time with CTRL+SHIFT+F.

You have to replace:
{"code":122,"indent":1,"parameters":[14,14,0,2,1,2]}

With:
{"code":122,"indent":1,"parameters":[14,14,0,2,1,1]}

In all the files in the "\www\data" folder (inside the game's own folder).

This way, the coin flips OUTSIDE combat will always be Heads, so just pick heads for a successful coin toss.

Thanks, but I knew about that one due to a thread on here that mentions it. I should have been more specific and clarified that I was looking to edit the combat ones as well.

I ended up figuring it out and have now successfully edited the coin tosses for combat as well. Thanks to the poster Semyon The Great.
