How many Books of Forgotten Memories can you find in a playthrough?
How many Book of Forgotten Memories are you expected to find in a play-through?

Can you ever find more than one Book of Forgotten Memories? Are you pretty much guaranteed at least one? Or are they extremely rare?

from what i understand, you can find them in bookcases randomly as a rare drop. i haven't tested to see if you can get more than 1 per playthrough, though since the Bug-eyed figurine (found in past Ma'habre) sells you unlimited soul stones for 20 silver, you don't need any books of forgotten memories to max out your skill tree, so you'll be fine even if you the game doesn't drop you any
