How accurate is the demo?
This may not be the right spot to ask, but I've been playing through the demo of this game, and while there's a lot of elements I like, there are some things I don't, and I'm not positive as to how accurate the demo is to the full game.

I've been burnt before by a misleading demo (looking at you, NEO Scavenger), so I'd just like to know if there are any key differences mechanically between the demo and the full game.

Some specific things I'm wondering
1) Are there any quality of life options in the full game, like sprinting, speeding up searching, maybe control remapping?
2) Is the game permadeath, or can you load a previous save should you have one? The demo allows you to save, but it doesn't actually do anything.
3) Is there any better UI fixes in the full game or is it still the somewhat clunky RPGMaker set up?
4) Are the RNG/Rogouelike elements more obvious in the full game?
5) Are there any other obvious differences between the demo and the full game I should know about before purchasing?

Thank you in advance!

I played the demo briefly, so I can answer to a limited degree:

1.) Sprinting is an option, though it has to be selected at character creation (when you're making those starting decisions-check the wiki for what choices have to be made) or must be taught through the empty scroll mechanic. The character creation is not present in the demo (the choices, at least). There is also keyboard config option. Searching is the same.
2.) There are save opportunities if you select the "normal" game mode, in the form of specific beds (will require exploration) and books of enlightenment, which are save items. The game also lets you save after character creation so you don't have to do the intro over and over again.
3.) It's still kinda clunky. A bit more polish in terms of menu bugs (but some are still there).
4.) RNG is really in the form of items you find when searching, the coinflips, and battle events (like what misses and damage rolls). It's very light on roguelike. The dungeon configuration has a list of different set ups, but they're not randomly generated- just randomly selected out of a pool.
5.) There's a hard mode, on top of the normal mode, multiple endings (never got to the ending of the demo myself).

Thank you! That clarifies a lot of things! I just beat the demo and what you're saying does make me excited to give the full game a shot.
