Look, having this thing be cursed wouldn't be a huge issue if the optimize button didn't auto-equip the damn thing. Now I'm stuck with it on dark priest when I have a sorcerers stone wasting in my inventory.

haha yeah I remember going an entire play through because of that with the ring on dont use optimize anymore because of that problem pissed me off so much lol

This is still a major issue. The developer should either remove cursed items from the optimize function or provide a way to remove them, such as using purifying talismans.

party members auto equipping it with "optimize" is nuts...

Wouldn't hold your breath on the dev fixing that, it's been around for a _while_. I think PlattyGems's mod removes that behavior? It's called "Reign of the New Gods" if you want to check out their work.

I'm using necromancy.
Maybe the complaints will reach the dark priests who mod and edit the game files. I just need the ring to be excluded from optimize lists. Pls, I keep foolishly thinking "Oh, this is a good idea" and the ring is so frequently in my inventory.

It really sucks that it gets put on by optimize, atleast marriage can get rid of it.
