Mannequins can be killed?

I am talking about Uterus, the horrible mannequins with a fetus. I attacked both them and the fetus for thousands of damages but nothing. I know they can be easily avoided, but just for curiosity is there a way to defeat them?

I managed to kill one using the pyromancy trick on fetus, it have huge ammount of hp. The doll itself is not so tough and dying quickly after.

Just attack them on the body, i do that all the time and it works

Attack their body until the fetus falls out and then attack the fetus.

If I have them, I usually throw Greater Hurting at the Uterus' arms till they're off, then attack the body or fetus until it falls out, then same spells on the fetus.

It's best to focus solely on the body and ignore everything else, the fetus has a lot of hp too

Most enemies that you need to destroy limbs on respond very well to explosive vials as well.
