Horadric Cube is not the inspiration for the cube though, eventhough Diablo 1 and 2 were big influences otherwise.

This game is awesome, I didn't expect something this nice could be made with RPG Maker.
the game has a lot of lovecraftian inspirations, being the most obvious the necronomicon
D'Arce takes elements from Casca and Farnesse
Nas'hrah is likely based off of Demon King Ganeshka
Crow Mauler is similar to Pyramidhead
The Path of Enlightenment for Enki's S Ending is similar to how Schierke explained magic to Farnesse
Alll-mer is based off the Christian God
There's also a few Hellraiser references but I wouldn't know since I didn't watch the films
Europa is obviously Europe
Rondon is England
Oldegard is Scandinavia (probably Norway to be more specific)
Eastern Sanctuaries (its a country not like monk shrines for yellow mages) is India
Vinland is America
