[MAJOR BUG] Unable to use any item in any save

After many hours of gameplay and multiple save files I found this bothering bug. After loading a save, I am unable to use any item, including books and food. Even if I load old saves, this is happening anyway. The only way to temporally solve this is to close the game, but after loading a second time it will happen again.

This really is a major bug! I've noticed that the game can occasionally lock some magic and items from me too. But everytime this happened to me, it also went away after a couple of minutes. Of course this doesn't mean that there wasn't a problem that would need fixing, but it might still salvage you playthrough.

Have you tried playing the game at all after this happened to you?

Thanks for the answer. I played again and it seems that right now is not happening again. The real worry is that was affecting all my save files, not just the last one, and all the items. The only way to solve was to close and load again the game. But luckily right now it is ok, just a bit worried if could corrupt permanently all the saves.

This just happened to me right now, i saved in the Crow Mauler safe room and now i cannot read any books, use any magic. nothing

This actually just happened to me so the bug still exists. Closing and reloading the game did fix it though.

This happens to me periodically after re-loading a save.

It does go away after either 1: combat or 2: time. Completing a battle seems to return your inventory to normal (but it might be hard to find a fight that you can do without access to your items) or just wandering around will eventually return it to normal after a couple of minutes. Leaving rooms does not seem to make it go away.
