Is losing Dash ability a bug or intended feature?

This was something I experience with a previous version of the game, but some of the time, when dropping down through the god of the depth's body, the dash ability would be lost. Outside of the small blurb mentioning a hurt ankle, there was no injury indicated anywhere, and it was inconsistent if/when a fall would cause this.

I just want to know if this was intended behavior or not because it makes gunning for Le'garde more stressful v_v

I cannot say for certain but im almost positive its intended and directly correlates with how many floor changing falls you take. Ive had it happen dropping down through the Thicket before since its like 5 consecutive falls and some are multi floors.

Id like to think the "Ankle hurt" is just a warning that if you continue to fall its gunna break. But I agree it sucks quite a bit specially when being forced to limp through that area full of traps.
