Game keeps crashing??

the game keeps crashing, mostly in the middle of the day which means i always have to start the day again and cook everything again. does that happen to anyone else?? i cant even get through a single day and idk why it happens :(

Never had it crash like this. When it crashes it's usually after I've ended the day and the save has already happened. I have a pretty strong PC, but if you are close to the minimum requirements with your PC maybe double check that nothing else is running. Play around with your settings.. maybe trying minimum, and especially make sure the screen resolution matches. That can cause issues with a lot of games.

I had a bad crash (pretty much happened every day, mostly by the time I opened the restaurant). Fixed it by limiting the fps from outside the game.

yes that is it.

To fix the crashes goto options -> FPS and set it to 60 (what is common for PC) - the option unlimited is made for console-players.

My PC sometimes crashed before i fixed that, especially after I got more customers and the bigger restaurant.

For linux users the in-game fps limiting doesn't seem to do the trick. Install libstrangle (can be found in the AUR) and invoke it in the steam launch options to fix it.

Ah thank you for that information. Good to know that it works a bit different for linux.
