Items classes?

Is there documentation on what you can do with some of the items? So far no idea on:
- broken weapons
- resources
- crafting stuff
- enchantment (books?)
- ??

When you set up camp you can do crafting and enchanting and other stuff.
Resources are used for some side quest objectives.
Broken weapons are just the lowest grade of those particular weapons.
