How unfinished is the game still?
I'm aware of the development hell this game is in, but does anyone know how much content is actually in the game right now?

How many levels and chapters? How much more remains to be finished?

In short: How unfinished is the game still?

The Early Access campaign contains the entire first Hub, minus the boss fight.
The hud map, and the five levels for the hub, each map ranging in playtime for 30 minutes to an hour.

This has always been the planned Early Access road map. At this time, the EA campaign is content complete. And the team are now working on the second and third hub and building towards the release of the full game.

If you wish to wait for the full release, that's perfectly fine. Just hope you enjoy Wrath when you do decide to play it.

Thanks for the reply, man.

It's really a pity. After so long, I hoped there was more.

I think I put it on my wishlist about 2 years ago.

The game is still in development.

They do biweekly updates, but cannot show everything.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Got it.

I thought this would follow an EA format similar to games like ULTRAKILL, Viscera Fest and the more recent Turbo Overkill (And all the others I've heard of).

Even with the information that the roadmap is complete, it seems a little counterproductive (Except for fundraising) to release a game in early access without intending to benefit from community feedback. Even more so, of course, seeing all the hate this game seems to have garnered (Which I believe is not that unreasonable).

Anyway, I plan to put him on my list and forget about it. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to enjoy the full game.

Thanks for the answer, btw.

Steam has odd requirements for how games are listed/sold.
Like, Ion Fury, it had to be listed/sold as Early Access... when it was not a standard EA release.

You bought the game and got access to the Preview Campaign, which was a original mini-campaign made specifically for that release.
It did feature areas of the full game, but cut and put together in a new way with a few new spaces.

Make sure to check out the 3DR Live Stream later today, as we will be showing Wrath, the stream will be at 2 PM ET / 20 CEST.

You can get the game from a key reselling site for about the £1.20 mark (2 USD) so you could always just do what I did and grab it now for cheap and keep it for when its finished or a lot further along. just google the game with the word "key" after it and look for one of comparison sites that will point you to the cheapest place

The Full release was set for february 2021.... delayed to summer 2021, delayed to 2022, delayed to spring 2023.... delayed to.......?

I don´t think there will be a full release, i´m waiting now 4 Years for the Game.

We just showed new content, the first level of Hub 2 was played on our stream this past Friday.
The Biweekly updates are stopping because the development has hit the point where it's all about polishing and bug fixing.

Development on Wrath is coming to a close.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but there absolutely will be a full release.

The Problem is the many delays. Why set a release date for february 2021 at first when the game is 2 years later still in development?

Because it was believed, at the time, hitting that release window was possible.
We did not foresee the issues and troubles that would come into play that slowed the development down.

We're still human, we make mistakes. Misjudge things and learn over time.
And unexpected situations come into play that get in the way.

Wrath has been a learning experience for all of us, and we are taking those lessons very seriously.

And now you are answering Questions.
Thta´s much more like in the last 2 years.
You would get much less hate if you talk much more here on Steam.

Now that I am the full time community manager, I will be doing my best to answer questions and convey information more.

Before I was only volunteering. As of a little over a week ago, it is my official full time job.
And improving community communication and relationships are a big issue I'm going to focus on for all our games going forward.

I know communication has been an issue. So, I will be doing my best to take note of questions asked, finding answers and addressing the ones I can.
Now, due to NDAs, there will be things I am not allowed to answer, and stuff we are not answering yet.
But, for everything I can, I will do my best.
