Wha Happun?
I don't know if Matt McMuscles will ever catch wind of this but I figure this game would make for a pretty good Wha Happun episode.

You could do an whole episode on 3D Realms in general at this point. Years of announcing new games but almost none of them have been released or seen outside of a few snippets for years. Core Decay, Sin Remaster, Combustion, WarPaws...

Many we have finally seen more of: Tempest Rising (demo but no release date), Ripout (released into EA), Phantom Fury (meant to come out 2023 but only released that pretty awful demo). We do also finally have releases for Wrath and Graven.

Sin Remaster is put on hold, to focus on other things.

Phantom Fury demo was only for Realms Deep. A new one is coming.

It wouldnt be a bad idea I love learning about games especially what the developers have to go through, kind of like Blood II on civvie 11 channel. Who knows maybe it will have a positive impact on this title.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of problems at 3DRealms, and yet another round of layoffs is of no surprise, as well as devastating to those affected. I can see why it's happening- 3DRealms keeps investing in games and Embracer keeps asking "where's the profit?" as they go for loooong stretches without releasing anything. Especially when the latest release- Kingpin Reloaded- had a bad launch and some absolutely terrible sales

3D Realms/Interceptor survived as welfare babies of the Danish government. That's why they were so lazy and constantly announced new games without ever finishing most of them.
