Female character on the right with rapier
There's a female character on the right in black, is she going to be with rapier too or her weapon is a place holder right now?

I'm guessing that's probably indeed her weapon and I'm happy we got a new rapierista that's not a weird hunchback Fabris practitioner named Marie :P . It seems likely she's a Destreza/Spanish fencing practitioner due to her weapon which is a distinctly Spanish style cup-hilted rapier. Also, she is probably Spanish/Catholic since black clothing like her's was often the fashion of people in the Catholic-sphere in the 17th Century. I'm now wondering what the helmeted guy's fighting style will be now since I originally thought he was Spanish and would use Destreza, but I'm guessing now he's probably using Marozzo/Bolognese fencing or something like that due to his weapon.

Kubold said that helmeted guy is going to be mercenary with not much skill, to compensate for his helmet, he would have heavy attacks but not much technique.

I don't remember where, sorry. But I remember Kubold saying that to compensate for helmet this character would have lack of skill and heavy swings because of lack of skill. He also might have some head action move like head butt instead of punching or something.

Can't wait to see Destreza style in game. The history buff mode makes mention of the famous Spanish style, so that plus her clothes leads me to put my money on her being a Verdadera Destreza fighter.
(I'm not opposed to more than one Spanish Rapier fighter either, the whole upright form looks great and would make a nice change from all the lower stanced fighters we have so far.)

If you look closely, her weapon looks a bit shorter than a rapier...so there is a chance of it being a smallsword. Which could be interesting :)

Rapier combat in this game is quite bad and boring compared to sabre and longsword, so i would prefer that they make Marie's gameplay and movement as good as they can - plus give her a clear historical style (her style is like a mish mash of general HEMA tournament rapier, with some general italian style rapier thrown in - and definitely not Fabris just because you see her in a couple of poses being low), than introduce a second rapier character that will also be half assed :/

Rapier combat and movement is quite hard to put down in a fighting game context, so i hope they slowly improve the existing player with patches, and not implement a second rapier character that behaves in the same crappy way as the first...

Hard to be sure - maybe a it's sidesword? I love those myself, I have a Italian sword from the mid-1600's which is itself ambiguous between being a short rapier and narrow sidesword.

It definitely doesn't look like a sidesword.
It has a round/cup hilt and a thinner blade, which means it's either a rapier, or the spanish transitional rapier (Espadin) which had a shorter blade and less hand protection - a smallsword, essentially.

Oh well, maybe in the main release we'll see a sidesword character.

Looking forward to her, and hope she is very different to Marie.

^This guy breaks down a little of how the style works
EDIT: It's got ENG subtitles btw

^An example of two fencers practising what I think is the vulgar style, opposing the 'true' style. (pretty much boils down to being willing to diverge from the playbook of the system, nobles be like that)

The second youtube video you linked is actually Verdadera Destreza - the "True Destreza" -not Destreza Vulgar/Comun.

Apart from all the Spanish people and Ton Puey, Rob Runacres is kinda specialized in Destreza Vulgar, he also has published a nice translation in english of the method for HEMA training https://www.fallenrookpublishing.co.uk/books/book-of-lessons/
Which is very nice, since all the Destreza sources still remain not translated from the original texts.

Anyway, as i said, i really hope that Kubold works on their existing rapier character, who needs a lot of work, instead of implementing a second character with a rapier, especially if it's based on the Spanish style, for which we have limited sources, compared to Italian/German/French rapier.

Okay, that's really nice.
