UPD: tried her 5 minutes ago. Seems to work just fine still. Got killed when overconfident, though. And one thing you could be rusty at - felt it at the moment myself as she's not my goto character - is a correct assessment of angles when you or the opponent sidestep.
Also, her strikes are not very strong - she's not Isabella or Tarnavsky who can often kill with one strike, so in cases of doubles she will be losing against stronger opponents, this may feel wrong too,,,
I just reinstalled, so I don't think the install would be bugged.
The shield issue isn't a side-step issue, as it happens even without them. Just holding her shield out makes her completely vulnerable to a head cut (Pressed no inputs beyond the high guard stance button to hold the shield out, AI did a basic head cut and it went right through both times). I know holding a high/low guard often seems to stop your auto-guard entirely but that posture shouldn't lose defence tracking and collision (It should honestly improve it at the cost of offence since you are holding the shield out).
It wasn't a case of doubles, I got fairly clean hits and the game recognized the hits via sound effects and even blood on the floor, but they just didn't do any damage at all. Her damage scores are just way too low.
RE: damage score - she's quite fast on the other hand, and has her shield which makes her often frustrating to attack in my experience...
Also, to test - you may want to temporarily turn on status bars to see whether the damage registers and to which part. I know it looks bit meh, but may be useful here.
I've been testing with both stable and precise. Both work just fine.
