It's Early Access, but it's a fully functioning game my dude. What do you even want?
Even for the average steam forum user this reply is dumb. Try at least a little bit next time.
The ♥♥♥♥ kind of response did you expect?

Now we're going into deranged toddler level of stupidity, but I'll humor you.
Kubold is a small motion capture studio of 3 people when I read about it several years ago. Not sure what your random misinformation has to do with anything I said.
The game has been in development for 3, almost 3,5 years now - and nothing has changed from it being an offline client with what essentially amounts to a practice mode. The fencer updates are quirky and nice but bring the game no closer to a coherent product.
We've also seen very crude footage from a campaign a very long time ago, but even 1,5 years later I've seen no official update appear of it on my feed.
So let me repeat myself: when is the game going to see substantial updates? Also don't even bother replying because you'll fry that 1 braincell.
Good on you for mercifully sparing the 1 remaining neuron though.
Each of the included characters uses a unique fighting style, so the animations for each fighter need to be recorded using motion capture. In addition, the developers are scanning historical clothing to make the game as historically accurate as possible. According to the updates on the forums, Twitter and Youtube the game is making steady progress and I do not think that it's all smoke and mirrors. Nowadays videogames have a very long development cycle, and remember that the game is mainly being developed by a single person.
The lore of Hellish Quart is set within the universe of the novels written by Jacek Komuda, if you would like to know a bit more about the story/lore of the game I recommend you to check the books and TV series:

The only deranged toddler level of stupidity I am seeing is this ridiculous, trolling thread.
Most games take far longer than 3 years to develop. This day and age of early access has spoiled people like you. How tf would you survive in the days when you waited years for a FULL game, without getting a chance to play it early, and it still have bugs and issues to sort out at launch?
You're acting like a crybaby manchild.
The thing with Kubold is that their active team seems to be extremely small - but there is also no direction to this project whatsoever.
A public roadmap would be nice. But beside that, I am happy with what I got since I bought the game. 3 more of the remaining characters, more stages, balance updates, the bossfight and at least some tiny story parts through the "arcade mode"
You do realize that the game is in almost the same state as it was when it released right? No single dedicated company would be able to get away with so little in so much time. It's clearly just a hobby project to the studio and honestly that's fine, but it's now been over 1.5 years ago that we saw some footage of what the game "would become". Yet nothing further has ever been said about it from what I have seen.
The game is still just a demo. Only now with a few more fighters. 3.5 years later.
You don't seem to have played it then lately because the arcade mode for instance which introduces us the boss fight and some of the story was a big update and is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to lore that will be introduced.
